Darrel was eighteen when he joined Diane and Steve at Sound, working in the shop and learning the machines. He came in to sales in 1984, and has held territories all over Western Washington. As the General Manager, Darrel was an integral part of the move of Sound to its current location in Renton, Washington, and he is the ultimate Flasher!
Jim started in the shop at Sound in 1984, and quickly took over shop operations in 1985. He moved to inside and outside sales in 1990, and now handles much of Sounds north end territory, including Alaska. Like everyone at Sound, his focus as always been customer service, and he takes pride in the relationships he has with his customers.
Sue began with Sound in 1983 working the shop. She moved in to the office and into insides sales soon thereafter. She began purchasing several product lines, working in outside sales and has since been deemed the Goddess of Steel.
TJ came to Sound in 1990 to work in our shop after meeting Darrel. He had experience as a framer and his flashing knowledge came in to use in 1997, when he moved from the shop to sales and operations. He has purchased practically all of the lines at Sound, and has extensive adhesives and siding accessories knowledge.
Diana began her career at SBS in 1992, and she handles much of the accounting and human resource responsibilities. She also works in inside sales, and purchases varying specialty products.
Jason started in the warehouse in 2002, before moving in to the office in 2006. Jason has taken on differing tasks, including purchasing, inside sales, and warehouse and shipping management, among others.
Robert began where most employees in the office at Sound start, in the warehouse in 2006. He worked hard and took on outside and inside sales, purchasing and accounts receivable in 2008.
Stacey started work again at Sound in 2006, purchasing product lines, and in inside sales.
Alvin has worked at Sound since 2000, and anchors the Special Fabrication Department. He has worked in sheet metal installation and the fabrication industry for over 30 years.
